When there has been no snowfall in December, or during Christmas for that matter, it can usually be found in the Ardennes in the east of Belgium. The day I made these recordings, there was still a little bit left, most of it had already melted away or was about to disappear. I tried to follow the path of the melting water. Dripping from the branches, flowing into smaller streams and eventually ending up in one of the larger rivers. I did not record the river itself, but it is always present in the background (if you listen carefully). Did very little EQ'ing, so the occasional plane will pop up.
